Our July selection is Calypso by humorist David Sedaris.

“Calypso,” by David Sedaris, is a collection of essays that primarily explores themes of family, mortality, and aging, with a focus on the author’s personal experiences and reflections. The book delves into the impact of his sister Tiffany’s suicide and his mother’s death from cancer, while also examining his own aging process and the anxieties surrounding it.

Copies are available for check out at our branches, along with digital editions on Libby and Hoopla.  If you finish your copy quickly, please return it to me so someone else might get the chance to read.
